Why ContinuityPoint Exists

Most protection advisers sell policies

We built ContinuityPoint to bridge the gap between transactional insurance sales and continuity risk management.

In business protection, insurers shape the framework and advisers are left to operate within it. But that framework is dominated by procedure, delays, and rigid service models, where frontline staff often lack the technical background or authority to manage complex, high-stakes cases with the strategic intent and understanding they demand. The result is a system that often fails to support high-quality execution.

After decades in the insurance and financial services industry, we’d seen enough. Time and again, high-value clients with complex needs were being let down by poor service standards, limited technical expertise, and a narrow, one-size-fits-all service proposition. A system never designed to handle the complexity, urgency, or strategic importance of the cases we were advising on.

So we asked a simple question: what would it look like to do this properly?

What if business protection wasn’t centred around a product but treated as a strategic advisory discipline, built around the business and the people who run it? What if insurance advice wasn’t biased by commission, but aligned with your real commercial priorities? What if underwriting wasn’t treated like a low-value, transactional process dominated by procedure and slow administration, but approached with the creativity, thought and disciplined attention required in serious advisory work.

That’s why ContinuityPoint exists

We don’t just advise. We structure. We project manage. We lead from the front. And we do it with deep respect for the risks you’re really exposed to. Our work sits at the intersection of legal, tax, and financial advice. We handle the insurance component with the technical accuracy and joined-up thinking it demands, because we’ve seen the damage that happens when those moving parts don’t align. And because we’ve built the relationships and knowledge to ensure they do.

ContinuityPoint is designed for business owners and executives who know what’s at stake and who won’t settle for off the shelf solutions or vague assurances.

We don’t earn commission. We don’t pass the buck. We don’t wait for insurers to catch up. We make things happen fast, accurately, and deliberately. Because in high-value, high-stakes cases, delay is risk, and ambiguity is cost.

Everything we do is built around three principles:

  • Clarity — You’ll always know what we’re doing, why, and how it protects your interests.

  • Control — We don’t rely on insurers to run the process. We take charge, coordinate it, and keep it moving.

  • Credibility — With decades of experience and a professional background across underwriting, compliance, and financial advice, we bring the depth you expect but will struggle to find.

You created your business by doing things properly. So did we

If you want to work with an insurance consultant who thinks and operates at your level, welcome to ContinuityPoint

TL;DR: We built this firm in response to an industry dominated by procedure, delays, and rigid service models, where frontline staff often don’t have the technical background or authority to deal with complex, high-stakes cases. ContinuityPoint does things differently. We integrate insurance with legal, tax, and continuity planning, taking control of the insurance process, thinking strategically, and delivering advice that protects your business when it matters most.
